Sea Survival Training

This week, Lamongan Shorebase carried out a Sea Survival Training session in the aims of improving our awareness of offshore safety.

We believe that safety is essential; it is everyones responsibility and duty. This sea survival training will improve safety standards for everyone, especially the jetty crew who constantly work near bodies of water.

Synergy Solusi and Indonesia Safety Center (ISC) trained our crew on the basics of Sea Survival and Man Overboard. There will be 3 batches in total, each batch with a maximum of 15 persons. Each batch will have to go through 2 sessions of the training provided by Synergy Solusi and ISC, each session from 8:00AM until 5:00PM.

The first session will solely focus on theories of basic sea survival, equipment used during the procedures, different names and types of safety procedures, and much more. The second session is a practical session; most of which will be conducted in water under professional supervision.

Indonesia Independence Day

We at Lamongan Shorebase would like to say Happy Independence Day to Indonesia!!

The Indonesian Independence Day is a very big event for the people of Indonesia. Preparations for this patriotic day start weeks ahead before the 17th of August. All high-rise office buildings around town are decorated with large banners and lighted designs. Fences around the presidential palace and many government offices are draped in red and white streamers.

For Lamongan Shorebase, we prepared a 17th August Games for all employees to come and join, to have a good time. The games includes fun games such as Tug of War, Sack races, and much more. Included in the games are also sports tournaments, mainly Ping Pong and Badminton.

Red is Courage, White is Purity.. Happy Birthday Indonesia.

Halal Bi Halal

This year, the Halal Bi Halal is held in the new Elang Mas Training Center, with an open garden and a new Sea & See Shop. More than 300 people attended the event, including our customers such as Haliburton, Petronas, Pertamina, Exxon, BP, and PLI.

The ceremony was opened by Pak Sugeng, followed by Pak Ng, and lastly by the Imam. After the Imam performed the prayers, people lined up and asked for forgiveness.

The local Indonesian food was prepared by our own kitchen, ready to feed the masses. While everyone was enjoying their meals, the band played many songs so people could sing along and enjoy.
