Lamongan Shorebase organized a blood donation event on September 10, 2024. This initiative aimed to encourage employees and the local community to participate in this vital activity, boosting the local blood supply and fostering a sense of compassion and community within the company.

The event encouraged employees and local residents to donate blood, highlighting the importance of such contributions in emergency medical care and ongoing treatments.

Lamongan Shorebase organized a food box distribution event at Balai Desa Kemantren. During this event, they distributed a total of 1,694 food boxes to the local community. This initiative was part of their ongoing efforts to support and give back to the community, especially during challenging times.

Lamongan Shorebase donated sports equipment to SMP Tarshib Kemantren. The donation included volleyballs, futsal balls, and basketballs. The event was well-received, with the headmaster, the sports teacher, and the students expressing their gratitude and excitement for the new equipment.

We prepared more than 1500 food packs to be distributed to Kemantren community today. The day started early with preparation at 07.00 AM, when our staff and customers assisted by the village officials, stood by at Balai Desa Kemantren ready for the flood of locals coming to collect their food pack. The villagers walked in, with vouchers in hand, to receive their goodies. We gave out more than a thousand boxes on the first day. Thank you to all who participated in making this event as success.

Ramadhan is a month full of blessings, and Lamongan Shorebase chooses to be part of that blessing. Our committee set up food for more than 1500 people on the front porch of Al-Abror Mosque in Kemantren. Together with Muslimins in Kemantren, our supportive customers and employees, we broke fast at the sound of Adzan Maghrib. After a speech by Lamongan Shorebase representative, Pak Sugeng Sudarman, the local ustadz closed the event with prayers.

We encouraged all employees to do a good deed during the Holy month of Ramadan by breaking fast with the children at the Orphanage Yayasan Sunan Drajat, Paciran. This orphanage accommodates and supports about 50 orphans and single parent children, from toddlers up to age 17 years old. This joyous event was filled with prayers and laughter both adult and children broke fast, played games and ate lots of snack and sweets together. In line with our good neighbor and sharing our good fortune initiatives, we distributed boxes of kurma (Dates), to the surrounding community, fishermen, and mosques to usher in Ramadhan 1439 H. This yearly activity takes place over two days. It is important this activity is held the during the first week so that all who are fasting can use kurma to break their fast or as Takjil.

Lamongan Shorebase celebrated Idul Adha together with Kemantren people today. We presented animals to be sacrificed to the representative of Al-Abror Mosque. The meat will be distributed to the less fortunate people from the surrounding areas. We do this to prove our sincerity to God. We thank God for the time to be able to share with the unfortunate. The Ta’mir of our own Lamongan Shorbase Al-Kautsar mosque put together a schedule to visit the Orphanages in the areas surrounding Lamongan Shorebase. This year, 2017, we visited an orphanage in Blimbing village which is home to more than 40 orphans. We spoke with the head caretaker of this orphanage, and he shared with us his struggles to keep this orphanage running and to provide the best for those under her care. Sharing our good fortune and prayers with them, we handed out donations, gifts, and dished out meals to all. We hope to meet them again in the future

Annually, we organize a charity pray and dine event with the Sunan Drajat Orphanage. We are constantly working on further developing our relationship with the Orphanage, its leaders and children. Then event was opened with a short speech by Pak Edi, who is the head of the Orphanage. Everyone filled their bellies with food and filled the air with joy and laughter. Good bags were then handed out to all the children in the orphanage at the closing of the event.

People gathered at 07:00AM in the morning with Foodbox coupons in their hands, eager to receive their share of the Foodbox Distribution. One of many CSR events for the community, the Foodbox distribution was held at Balai Desa Kemantren. The aim of this event is share good fortune to our community. Each box contains basic daily necessities such as rice, cooking oil, sugar, and various snacks, which can be shared within individual families. Throughout the two days, we distributed more than 1,500 boxes.

Sharing is always an act of caring. Staff from all departments are each assigned a day where they will distribute Ta’jil which they bought by collecting donations from their colleagues. Hundreds of packets of Ta’jil were distributed at a station set-up at the main road.

Following our initiative to stay in touch with the local community, this year’s Buka Puasa with Kemantren was well received by both the committee and our employees. The event was held at the biggest mosque in Desa Kemantren, Al-Abror. Over 1,500 people attended the celebration, including the various leaders and important figures of Kemantren. The start of the event was opened with prayers, and was shortly followed by a speech from our Operation Manager, Pak Sugeng. For a week during the month of Ramadan, Lamongan Shorebase Employees were up and about as soon as the sun rose. They were busy distributing boxes of kurma (dates) to representatives of the mosques and fishermen from the surrounding community. Dates, are high in energy and vitamins and is mostly eaten during the month of Ramadan as a means to break fast or as sahur (last meal before the day’s fast starts). JAPFA Foundation, a foundation that maximizes the Youth Potential through development of education, nutrition and sports, approached all the local communities and businesses in Lamongan to join the Lamongan Beach Run 10KM. The objective for this event was to develop the local communities, to raise & promote healthy awareness and to seek potential local athletes. At the finishing line, a bazaar created by the local community was set up there, with local musical talents performing to create a lively environment. During the fasting month of Ramadan, it is a yearly agenda for Eastern Logistics to initiate a charity program to distribute Food Boxes at Balai Desa Kemantren to show our appreciation to our closest community. The food box distribution event was running for two days, 28 – 29 June 2016. The event started at 08:00am and finished late afternoon each day. As this is a charity program, many of Eastern Logistics staff attended and ensured that each person received their food box. This year, we distributed more than 1,500 boxes in the two days.

Every year at Kemantren, we celebrate the holy month of Ramadan together, and the rest of our neighborhood to come and dine with us. It is a great opportunity to see what the community is truly all about. Ramadan is a means for the individual to create good habits, break bad ones, give charity, and improve morality. Family is equally important. For Lamongan Shorebase, we are part of the community, part of the big family. This year we provided food boxes for all the residents near the Al-Abror Mosque to break fast after the sun has set. HAPPY BREAK FASTING!!

Lamongan Shorebase conducted a Corporate Social Responsibility program for the less fortunate at Balai Desa Kemantren. We set up medical checkup center with a clinic and specialized doctors to help provide free medical care to those that are in need of it. With the help of paramedics from Al Arsy Hospital Puskesdes, together we helped almost 300 people.

Earlier this morning, a truck carrying a genset fell in a ditch near the main road near Lamongan Shorebase. Since no tow truck service could help the truck, Lamongan Shorebase decided to deploy its rigging crew to help lift the truck and the genset from the ditch. The entire lifting process took less than an hour to complete. Sadly, both the truck and the genset were damaged, but with a few repairs, they can be good as new.

Yesterday, the entire village of Kemantren (aprox 2,500) attended the breakfasting event at Al Abror, held by P.T Eastern Logistics. Early this morning (July 9) Lamongan Shorebase had a food giveaway to the villagers of Kemantren. This gift-giving event is conducted every year by LS. This is their fourth year that LS provided gifts to the citizens of Kemantren during Lebaran. The gift package, that contains rice, bread, and other snacks, are distributed to each villager and their homes. Each villager will record their address, so that every home gets their share It is important to keep a close connection

Every year we celebrate Ramadan breakfasting with our biggest community, Kemantren. The celebration was held in Al-Abror, a monumental mosque that is just west of the Shorebase. It is our corporate social responsibility to keep in touch with our surrounding communities, to become closer to them and to make a lasting relationship. Over 1,500 people attended the celebration, including the Kades (chief of the village) and other important figures of Kemantren. Our small mosque Al-Kautsar and its members distributed food to a nearby orphanage, Karang Asem. The fasting month is a spiritual month, a month in which we should face hardship and celebrate together. Our IT manager, Pak Dody, following by the leaders of the orphanages, performed the opening prayer. There are around 40 to 50 orphans in total, ranging from children to teenagers. Lamongan Shorebase is overjoyed to fill the orphans’ lives with joy and happiness, and their stomachs with food.

Al-Abror is a mosque that is located in kemantren, west of Lamongan Shorebase. We provided food to the mosque and locals to make a celebration; a fasting feast for all the locals and villagers.

This Ramadhan event, certainly more lively than the previous year, not only sharing Ta’jil for employees only, we also give Ta’jil for motorists and travelers who passing through the area of Lamongan Shorebase.

During this month of Ramadhan, we also take the time to share the joy with 46 orphans in the village of Drajat Lamongan. This event also signify the start of a fostering and mentoring program that we have planned for these children.

As our gratitude for all the blessings that we have received, we share the joy by giving 1500 Eid gift packages for our community.

As with previous years, we organized our annual break fasting event with all theresidents from Kemantren with our staff.

Alhamdulillah, give thanks to Allah SWT, on 20th February 2013, we officially open the Al-Kautsar Mosque on our Base. With the proper functioning of this mosque is expected to enhance the spirit and worship of the Muslim community around us.

As a form of participation to support the effect global warming, we collaborated with the district government of Paciran, department of agriculture and forestry of Paciran, and villages of Paciran, to plant trees around us.

In appreciation of the Fisherman Association, we organized this event to inculcate fellowship with them.

In co-operation with the Kemantrengoverment, we distributed 1500 Eid gift packages to our Community.

This event is held to welcome Ramadhan, attended about 1000 people of our Community & our staff.

Lamongan Shorebase held our Halal bi Halal with our employees as well as Headmasters, teachers and winners of our Children Art Competition. This Art Competition was held from 11 to 29 August 2008 with 12 schools at Paciran area. Now, we have proudly displayed our children’s paintings on the walls in Lamongan Shorebase.

As our principle to share good fortune with others during Ramadhan period, we visited some mosques around the Lamongan Shorebase to share the Tak’jil for the breakfasting with our local community.

On September 11, 2007 we hosted a special visit with Paciran’s Kyai. They came to the Lamongan Shorebase to attend the Communication Forum which gave them the opportunity to see, meet and ask questions about Lamongan Shorebase.
