Food Pack Giveaway by Mosque Al-Kautsar

This activity started on Monday morning at Dusun Tepanas, Balai Desa Kranji. Members of Al-Kautsar Mosque distributed packages of food box to unfortunate widows and elderly. The package contained daily staples such as rice pack, cooking oil, noodles, cookies, etc. We would like to  thank the village officials for their support and assistance during the whole event. Hope that we are able to share more good fortunes next year.

Internal Breakfasting with Lamongan Shorebase Staff & Customers

A regular event made special by the completion of the Al-Kautsar mosque expansion. We marked the occasion by holding our breakfasting event with Staff and customers there. After the opening speech my LS Management representative, Pak Sugeng Sudarman, fast was broken with delicious food prepared in-house and also by our caterer. The night ended with some music from our own band.

Adzan Competition by Mosque Al-Kautsar

Every year, our Mosque committe routinely conduct different competitions during Ramadhan season. In 2018, we held an event of Adzan Competition which consists of more than 20 participants. This is also a part of another form of charity, to cheer and share fortune to whoever wins the competition. Assisted by our local ustadz, we come up with 5 winners and handed them with interesting prizes.

Breakfasting Together with Orphans in Blimbing

On Monday, June 4, 2018, one of the class room of Taruna Negara Orphanage was filled with smiles and laughter. Our Mosque committee, Al-Kautsar, held a breakfasting event together with the children and teachers in this orphanage which is located in Blimbing, Paciran. The event was opened with a speech from Pak Wawan as Lamongan Shorebase representative and ended with dinner and snacks for all. Gifts, goody bags donated by staff, customers, and clients of Lamongan Shorebase.were  distributed to all the children at the orphanage.

Arabic Calligraphy Competition by Mosque Al-Kautsar

Another way to celebrate the holy month of Ramadhan 1439 H, the committee of Mosque Al-Kautsar held an Arabic Calligraphy Competition for first time. The competition was open to everyone; staff, customers, and vendors in Lamongan Shorebase. This event is to encourage learning and promote friendly competition. We best calligraphers were presented them with prizes such cash and little souvenirs.

10 Million Safe Man Hours

LS celebrated 10 Million Safe Man hours on 29 th Nov with a gathering of all personnel, with customers and vendors. It took us 5 years to achieve this milestone, and in that 5 years, we had a total of 7981 vessel calls, handled 2,386,661.93 tons of cargo at the jetty. Pak Wiwit, HSE Manager opened the event with a short speech, followed by the speech of  Pak Sugeng, our Senior Operations Manager. Visit by Deputy Minister for Energy and Mineral Resources of Indonesia

Deputy Minister for Energy and Mineral Resources of Indonesia, Archandra Tahar, and his team, visited the base on one of his many annual visits to companies which fall under the ministry’s jurisdiction. Lamongan Shorebase team hosted the visit by giving the Deputy Minister a tour around the facility, followed by a buffet lunch, and chats with various customers who occupy and operate from within Lamongan Shorebase. We hope the Deputy Minister left with a good impression and we look forward to the next opportunity to host the office of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of Indonesia again.

More than 200 participants stand a chance to be called sports champions and win prizes totaling millions of rupiah. Over 4 days, shuttle cocks whizz through the air and the thump of footballs being punted ring through the air, our competitors each laser focused on scoring a point or a goal. Share the gift of life! Our quarterly blood donation drive, encourages as many people as possible to contribute to the Red Crosses Blood bank. We encourage blood donation as it has many health benefits, some of which include, anti-cancer benefits, help maintain a healthy liver and heart, encourages weight loss and stimulates more healthy red-blood cell production. In the year 2017 alone, we have had 420 of our own staff donating their blood. Excuses never save lives, blood donation does. When are you going to start saving lives?

This is the first year holding the Da’wah contest. Ta’mir of Al-Kautsar mosque in Lamongan Shorebase, initiated this contest to allow participants to show off their public speaking skills and engage attendees in understanding more about the holy month of Ramadan. With live music and food, this event brings everyone in Lamongan Shorebase together, promoting a spirit of togetherness and a sense of belonging. Tasha Rig

We are pleased to welcome our newest Rig Tasha to the shores of Lamongan Shorebase. Tasha was recently from a Petronas Site before coming to Lamongan Shorebase. Tasha will be ‘Hot Stacking’ and is expected to stay with us for a period of up to 6 months. The rig is currently stationed 1.6km away from our shore, with a depth of 14m. Independence Day Badminton

For this year’s Independence day, the Lamongan Shorebase Committee devised a Badminton Championship Cup for Singles and Doubles. All Lamongan Shorebase staff were allowed to join. The sound of the loud roar of the crowd, the cheery supporters, the cries of men and women participating in the Badminton Cup; what better way to to celebrate Indonesia’s Independence day with the spirit and sportsmanship of Badminton.

Halal Bi Halal 2016

Halal Bi Halal is the time where people visit their elders, family, friends, neighbors, and work colleagues to ask for forgiveness and show respect to them. This is usually done after Idul Fitri. The Halal Bi Halal is held at the Elang Mas Training Center, with an open garden. More than 300 people attended the event, including our customers such as Haliburton, Petronas, Pertamina, Exxon, BP, and others. It was a day to seek reconciliation and preserve harmonious relations by spending the rest of the evening dining, chatting and singing together.

Trinity Explorer Fender Repairs

Late in the evening, the Operations department received an urgent job from Trinity Explorer, one of our customer’s Supply Vessel. The vessel’s fender was apparently damaged and needed emergency repairs to ensure that the vessel does not damage the jetty, or itself due to the unpredictable movement of the tides. Our Lifting Specialist and his crew of riggers/banksmen rushed on-scene and was able to lift the fenders out and repair them before any damage could take place.

LS Break Fasting 2016

Fasting lets us experience a little of what less privileged people throughout the world go through on a daily basis, and allows us to better ourselves through sharing and compassion. Every year at Lamongan Shorebase, we celebrate the holy month of Ramadan together. This year however, we invited the children from Rumah Pintar, an orphanage that we constantly engage with, to come and dine with us. The opening prayers were conducted by these children. We sang, danced, and dined together, like one big happy family. HAPPY BREAK FASTING!!

Pertamina Badminton Friendly Match

The Pertamina Friendly Match consisted of 5 pairs per side; 5 from Team Lamongan Shorebase and 5 from Pertamina. Each pair had to face off all the opposing team’s pairs. It was a fun and enjoyable match, both Pertamina and Lamongan Shorebase playing together not for competition, but for fun and sportsmanship. We hope to play with Pertamina and all our customers in the future.

Muria Building

Today we celebrate the opening of Lamongan Shorebase’s new building, Muria. This new building is dedicated for our customers such as PHE, Petronas, and others to name a few. In this momentous occasion, both customers and staff join together in prayer and feast. The new building is two stories tall with fully equipped facilities such as state of the art meeting rooms, a dining hall, VIP bathrooms, and more. The representative of the customers, PHE Superintendent, Pak Alfian Idris, and our Operations Manager, Pak Sugeng Sudarman, cut the tumpeng and shook hands to seal the deal.

Departure of Javastar

Today at 4:45 PM, our long term rig Javastar has embarked on a journey to a Kris Energy site in Sakti for a drilling operation. Javastar is set to return to Lamongan Shorebase in a few months time after completing the drilling in Sakti.We wish Javastar a safe and successful drill. It won’t be long until we will see the giant three-legged tower docked in our shore again.

Teras Qonquest 6

Lamongan Shorebase is pleased to welcome Teras Qonquest 6, another jackup rig that has joined our jetty. Early saturday morning, the rig docked at Jetty G and scrambled the divers to commence the Under Water Inspection in-Lieu of Dry-docking (UWILD) project. Teras Qonquest is scheduled to stay docked in jetty G for 7 days, and will then be moved near the Java Star Rig for 3 more days before it departs.

Sea Survival Training

This week, Lamongan Shorebase carried out a Sea Survival Training session in the aims of improving our awareness of offshore safety. We believe that safety is essential; it is everyones responsibility and duty. This sea survival training will improve safety standards for everyone, especially the jetty crew who constantly work near bodies of water. Synergy Solusi and Indonesia Safety Center (ISC) trained our crew on the basics of Sea Survival and Man Overboard. There will be 3 batches in total, each batch with a maximum of 15 persons. This year, the Halal Bi Halal is held in the new Elang Mas Training Center, with an open garden and a new Sea & See Shop. Trinity Explorer Fender Repairs

Late in the evening, the Operations department received an urgent job from Trinity Explorer, one of our customer’s Supply Vessel. The vessel’s fender was apparently damaged and needed emergency repairs to ensure that the vessel does not damage the jetty, or itself due to the unpredictable movement of the tides. Our Lifting Specialist and his crew of riggers/banksmen rushed on-scene and was able to lift the fenders out and repair them before any damage could take place.

LS Break Fasting 2016

Fasting lets us experience a little of what less privileged people throughout the world go through on a daily basis, and allows us to better ourselves through sharing and compassion. Every year at Lamongan Shorebase, we celebrate the holy month of Ramadan together. This year however, we invited the children from Rumah Pintar, an orphanage that we constantly engage with, to come and dine with us. The opening prayers were conducted by these children. We sang, danced, and dined together, like one big happy family. HAPPY BREAK FASTING!!

Pertamina Badminton Friendly Match

The Pertamina Friendly Match consisted of 5 pairs per side; 5 from Team Lamongan Shorebase and 5 from Pertamina. Each pair had to face off all the opposing team’s pairs. It was a fun and enjoyable match, both Pertamina and Lamongan Shorebase playing together not for competition, but for fun and sportsmanship. We hope to play with Pertamina and all our customers in the future.

Muria Building

Today we celebrate the opening of Lamongan Shorebase’s new building, Muria. This new building is dedicated for our customers such as PHE, Petronas, and others to name a few. In this momentous occasion, both customers and staff join together in prayer and feast. The new building is two stories tall with fully equipped facilities such as state of the art meeting rooms, a dining hall, VIP bathrooms, and more. The representative of the customers, PHE Superintendent, Pak Alfian Idris, and our Operations Manager, Pak Sugeng Sudarman, cut the tumpeng and shook hands to seal the deal.

Departure of Javastar

Today at 4:45 PM, our long term rig Javastar has embarked on a journey to a Kris Energy site in Sakti for a drilling operation. Javastar is set to return to Lamongan Shorebase in a few months time after completing the drilling in Sakti.We wish Javastar a safe and successful drill. It won’t be long until we will see the giant three-legged tower docked in our shore again.

Teras Qonquest 6

Lamongan Shorebase is pleased to welcome Teras Qonquest 6, another jackup rig that has joined our jetty. Early saturday morning, the rig docked at Jetty G and scrambled the divers to commence the Under Water Inspection in-Lieu of Dry-docking (UWILD) project. Teras Qonquest is scheduled to stay docked in jetty G for 7 days, and will then be moved near the Java Star Rig for 3 more days before it departs.

Sea Survival Training

This week, Lamongan Shorebase carried out a Sea Survival Training session in the aims of improving our awareness of offshore safety. We believe that safety is essential; it is everyones responsibility and duty. This sea survival training will improve safety standards for everyone, especially the jetty crew who constantly work near bodies of water. Synergy Solusi and Indonesia Safety Center (ISC) trained our crew on the basics of Sea Survival and Man Overboard. There will be 3 batches in total, each batch with a maximum of 15 persons. This year, the Halal Bi Halal is held in the new Elang Mas Training Center, with an open garden and a new Sea & See Shop.
